Kevin DeWitt holds 15+ years of senior management experience, with his primary focus being strategy, business development and finance. He has leadership experience in mergers and acquisitions, turn-around and change management situations, and has held full P&L responsibility in multiple companies and industries.
Kevin founded Summit Venture Strategies and Veridian Financial, a national business consulting and real estate lending company, and grew the company from start-up to over $270 million with lending licenses in 42 states. In a prior role, Kevin was a senior manager of an Arizona healthcare organization serving approximately 10,000 parients annually and a budget of several hundred million.
He has successfully completed over 200 business consulting projects for clients in the areas of financial business plans, business development strategy, operational due diligence, market and competitive analyses, investment business plans, and strategic business plans. This work includes client companies across more than 20 industries, including healthcare, financial services, telecommunications, real estate, entertainment, technology and consumer products.
Kevin holds both Masters and undergraduate degrees from the University of Louisville. In addition, he has conducted three years of post-Masters doctoral work at the University of Kentucky in economics, finance and public policy. For three years he taught a variety of courses to both graduate and undergraduate students at both Universities, including Statistics, Public Policy, Quantitative Analysis, Government, and International Government.
